Undoubtedly our history as a kennel is very close to and starts with Lex Luthor himself.
The long years of campaign in Argentina as well as in other countries such as Brazil and USA, required every effort to be dedicated exclusively to Lex Luthor. This made impossible to seriously start our own kennel without putting aside one of both activities, Lex Luthor’s campaign or a breeding program in accordance to what he was doing in the show ring.
However, having the aim of our own kennel, we incorporated select bitches coming from Lex Luthor’s stud services to the best brood bitches in the breed. Thus our staff of bitches was enriched to follow the idea we had in mind: to keep Lex Luthor’s line.
In this way, we reached year 2001 when Lex Luthor had won whatever he had to win and the trip schedule was not so demanding. Then we had two bitches sired by Lex Luthor ready to breed, and we decided it was the correct time to start a new era, that belonging to the offsprings of Lex Luthor bred in our own kennel.
The first litter was produced by Charleston Flash Dance, a Lex and Charleston Gipsy Storm daughter. In September 2001 a remarkable litter was born that would immediately distinct our kennel, Apolo, Atila, Athena and Aquiles. The two latter sent to Orient and the two first were protagonist as soon as they made their debut in the show ring. Apolo holds the astonishing record of 16 BIS in only 4 months of shows. Regretfully his show career ended due to an accident. Today, Apolo along with his father are the stud dog pillars in our kennel producing beautiful puppies already in the rings with excellent results.
We continued adding brood bitches from different compatible bloodlines which gave us top litters. From each litter we always select a bitch to continue our breeding program. Today our kennel counts with 17 bitches, some campaigning in the show ring.
In a short time, almost three years after starting, the high quality in our kennel was demonstrated by having bred several Argentine, Chilean, Uruguayan, Mexican, Phillippine, Asian, Brazilian champions and counting among our bitches with the first American Champion (Ellie) born in our kennel.
The Lex Luthor dinasty keeps all the majesty of its founding doberman.
